Ryan Davis

Golf Professional

Ryan Davis is a member of the PGA of America. No matter your age or playing ability, Ryan brings the game of golf to life! He grew up in Southern California and started playing golf at age seven and played competitively junior, high school, collegiate, and professional golf. Ryan attended Portland State University, where he earned a Bachelors degree in Sociology and quickly realized the game of golf was not only a passion but a career path. Ryan loves to teach golf and he has taught thousands of group and private lessons for kids and adults over the course of his career.

Matt Barnhart

First Assistant Golf Professional

Matt Barnhart didn’t discover the joys of playing golf until the age of 24 when he started competing on the basketball court. He began teaching golf 10 years ago and found that he loves seeing people hit the perfect shot after struggling to get it right. Matt believes that every student has a unique swing and he wants to help you perfect it. Matt started his career at The Farms in Rancho Santa Fe and he also served as an assistant general manager at Arrowood Golf Course in Oceanside, where he gave lessons to all ages. He would love to help you perfect your game.

 

Todd Cales

Assistant Golf Professional

In my 15 years working in the golf industry, I’ve caddied and taught all ages and skill levels. My goals as a teaching professional are to see my students reach their own personal goals in golf and to enjoy the game throughout their lives.

 

Fred Hanover

Instructor

Coached at CSU San Bernardino in 1991 and 1996-1998, Started Men’s and Women’s program from scratch at CSU San Marcos in 1998 and coached there until 2010. Coached the men’s golf team at the University of Redlands from 2015-2018. Presently the Head Men’s Golf Coach at UC San Diego( Started in January 2019)
 
Been a golf professional at The Links at Lakehouse since 1998.
